Hello!
I'm inaugurating this Blog section on my website for a very special reason: I want to introduce you to my first visual storytelling project: LGBTQIA+plural.
As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I feel like we're still underrepresented in photography — and art in general, especially when it comes to certain groups such as black people, transgender people, people with disabilities, etc.
In addition to being a photographer, I also have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies — emphasis on Journalism, and I am very passionate about hearing people's stories and sharing them.
That's why I decided to combine two of my multiple passions — writing and photography — into this special visual storytelling project, which mainly aims to highlight the plurality of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The way I've been conducting it essentially consists in meeting wonderful people, listening to their stories, sharing experiences and capturing the most of it in candid portraits. :)
The project includes 13 articles and 18 participants. Go check them out and feel free to share any feedbacks.
Thank you!
